BIO: Mark Byron Dallas is a Knight-Thompson Speechwork-certified teacher, originally from Birmingham, UK. After a successful career at the BBC in London, he relocated to Toronto, Canada, where he now thrives as a freelance accent/dialect coach for stage, screen, and audio. Beyond coaching, Mark is an actor, language and digital media instructor, and language test examiner.
With a Higher National Diploma (HND) in design communications from the University of Suffolk and a TESL honors certification from LaSalle College, Mark brings a strong foundation to his work.
His diverse coaching credits include notable theatre productions such as Silent Sky (ActorsStudio66, Albuquerque), The 39 Steps (Village Players, Toronto), and The Elephant in the Room (Waterloo East Theatre, London, UK).
On the small screen, he has contributed to acclaimed series such as Waco: The Aftermath (Showtime), Fear Thy Neighbor (Discovery+), and Murdoch Mysteries (Shaftesbury Films).
Passionate about empowering actors to fully embody their roles and helping language learners find their unique voices, Mark blends his expertise in both fields.
